PostSubject: Wanted: Weanling FOAL   Mon Mar 28, 2011 3:45 am

Looking to purchase a weanling foal, preferably something that is currently still on the dam and will be weaned when we collect it. I need a weaning pal for my colt but after spending a fortune on my only other foal to keep her alive, only to have her stolen two weeks ago, poor little Sin has no company, and funds are very tight.

Due to cost of transport and the fact it will be just weaned, I would prefer to look at ponies in Sydney area only, up to 2hrs distance at the most.

Colt or filly, horse or pony, any colour, to mature any size under 38".
Unhandled and unregistered is okay as long as breeding is known.

We are looking at spending no more than $500, but can swap an aged MHAA broodmare who is very sweet tempered and in very good health (asking $300 for her + will pay cash difference), or bombproof 32" black pinto yearling filly (asking $500 for her).

I know it is a big ask, but my colt is already fretting for his playmate and the other horses just aren't that into his silly foal antics, so it breaks my heart that he won't have a mate to go thru the weaning process with.
